Reason for the award

Known as “NinjaDuck” or Kathryn Burke on Theta Fleet, the CO of Calypso, the XO of Herodotus, the CMO of Artemis, and many more there are so many reasons why Charlie deserves this award. She hosts and is the webmaster for many of the Theta Fleet sims, managing updates, and taking care of requests from CO’s like rank updates, and other items. She pays for this hosting herself. Also as the Fleet Commander, she offers support in so many other ways. She’s there to assist new CO’s get their sims off the ground, as well as help when any problems come up among players in any games.

She helps organize the conferences for rpgs like the most recent Babel Conference, recruiting panelists, organizing schedules, speaking at her panels with useful tips, and filling in gaps as needed. She’s an active simmer, enthusiastically participating in the many sims she’s on, and is a fun and kind member of the writing community that many of us have been blessed to write with.
