Reason for the award

The USS Astrea is a unique take on the Star Trek story. Taking place on a class of starship designed primarily for combat, the CO and her crew are still getting their space legs aboard her decks, and are doing their best to keep things peaceful.

The Astrea is also the first sim I’ve seen that includes actual deck space for Cetacean Operations, meaning players who fish to write characters that are primarily water-borne, can find a home here.

While there have been some minor upheavals over the past couple months, the GM has managed to keep the crew focused and engaged in adding content to jps, in order to make the stories that we write take on an engrossing and interesting tale.
