Reason for the award

The USS Hiroshima is an enduring sim that has been running as a play by email RPG continuously since 2002, with several of its original players still in situ over 22 years later. The Hiroshima has achieved a lot in that time, attracting and keeping some of the best writing talent out there, but 2024 was a key year for the sim when members bootstrapped themselves out of an activity doldrum and rallied around to make an impressive storytelling comeback. This renewal is bringing a fresh wave of momentum to the game as friends new and old have rekindled interest and imaginations. Hiroshima is charting good times ahead!
